oh dear...

I have deduced that blogger is BOOORINNGGG! Oh it's soo sad! I used to spend a few hours at a time writing my thoughts down here, and now? Now Im a girl who runs around like a true social butterfly with nothing better to do than be a nerd at school and hang out with my friends who I love <3 but seriously no time for computers? Whoever heard of that?!? :( SAD...

Wow I can't belive raw it is sooo very soon. I have been so excited to , Just to go downtown and help others. The homeless we get to go down talk, help and feed and PRAY for them. With friend who have never been there and teach listen adn such man it's this sunday I'm so excited whoot whoot

Well Today was another friday!
When we got to teen cell aaron put on a DVD the Invisible Childern we most of the teen cell was there and when we watched it Im pretty sure it hit us Hard seeing that young childern from 5-12 are being abducted and being made into child soilders. Think that they will never get too be with there families on Christmas. But being put to work to kill to abducted other kids only 5 -12 years old many running for there lifes everynight. From someone who wants to kill them so arron asked us how dose this similar to the christmas story??? Think jesus had to run from a king who was killing every child under too so jesus and his family had to run. Then aaron asked us to pray for the childern before we run down stairs adn open our presents. And I would like you to ask the same?? So please pray for those who have to run to keep safe. And have No where to go on christmas??....

CHRISTmas

Wow, I can hardly believe that there is only ONE week until Christmas! I loovve Christmas, it's one of my favourite times of year. It's a time when everyone feels like the world is a better place. It's especially a big reminder for me as a Christian that, because of this one amazing and spectacular day every person on this earth has HOPE, and man does it feel good! Christmas is big evidence of God on earth. I mean how could you hear the nativity story and not know in your heart that God is living? And I dont mean living in the sense that there is this detatched God somewhere out there who doesn't really care about us, but living in this up close and really personal sense. This God who cared SO much in fact that he sent his son, his only child, down to earth to be persecuted, mocked, abused and killed so that we could have that hope in our lives, a chance at a new start.

That is BIG, really big. I think that our society often takes Christmas for granted. Think about it, suddenly Christmas becomes about getting all your presents on time, for the best deal possible of coarse, or getting that gift you've wanted since august. As I think more and more about it I am realizing that Christmas is simply about so much more than we have reduced it to, in fact I would go so far as to say that our society has successfully turned Christmas and the celebration of the birth of Christ into a product for us to buy. I know that I have definitely bought into it, but I want to nip that habit starting with myself. How? By taking a lot of time this Christmas season to really contemplate the symbolism, pourpose and significance to the birth of the Christ child.Who knows maybe this will inspire you to do the same.

Im blogging

Well it's been awhile since we blogged but Im gonig to. So for new thing in my life well I have a boyfriend. And we are getting out for chirstmas break soon so excited and ya I think me and crystal are planning to go up to Victoria. I still have amazing friends they are the best thing in my life.Well so we will be going to vernon soon To the ski weekend. Our teen cell did our first kettle shift on saturday. Must I say that was totally awesome so much funn we all danced and singed. Had tons of donations thanx to everyone who gave money and Merry Christmas. Just found out that i Got really cool presents ya from my friends. I love you guys<3333>

Well we just got back from Victoria<3 We stayed with the awsomest person ever NICOLE BRINDLE<3 thanx for putting up with us for a week. Well when we were heading there we almost didn't get on the ferry because we were already to get on and we all had our tickets and then they stoped selling tickets at hannah ahhhh!!!! then we were panicking but then the guy let us on the last people to get on but we had to wait at the car port. Then we got on the ferry and then we end up being a half an hour late. btu then we got there and it was rainning but finally we got tonicoles place and then like 30mins later jim adn his friends showed up and jeff adn ashley and chella were there. Then we made such a mess in nicoles house that night sorry nicole we are very sorry:( well then the next day we went to the mall that was fun then we hungout all day just chuilling with everyone. Then we had so much funn went to jeffs house and hungout for his brithday!!! that was awsome then clayton drove us home and then we findout that SAM is there and we tell emmbarrising stroies to her boyfriend sorry sam we love you!!! so then we had lots more funn. The next day we just totally hungout went to chruch adn then we hngout at nicoles house and AYSHA got a cold-sore from my friends sock!!! ewww very gross but then we had to leave so we left at like 5 and got home at like 10:30 that night well that was the time we spent in victoria and I can't wait to go back!!!!!!

Today

I am sitting in planning class with Crystal Lozie. We are discussing how we hate this class as we research the injury rate of young workers in BC. Some kid got his fingers amputated yesterday or something, NASTYYY. Sigh this is a lame class, but hey Im getting a B and I thought I was only getting a C. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
